A Festival Powered by Volunteers

North East Piano Festival is proudly run by a dedicated team of volunteers. On the Festival day in June, our team generously gives their time and energy to ensure the event runs smoothly and efficiently.

All members of our Festival team serve on a voluntary basis and are not financially remunerated. Their commitment reflects our shared passion for music education and the development of young pianists.

We are always grateful for offers of support. Volunteer roles are varied and may include: preparing rooms and setting up signage, assisting at reception and certificate desks, guiding participants and audience members within the venue and providing general on-the-day support.

If you would like to volunteer — whether for a few hours or for the full day — we would be delighted to hear from you.

With a commitment to high-quality music education and artistic excellence, Sam Tse established the North East Piano Festival to provide a regional platform for young pianists to perform, grow, and be inspired.
